We won't be here forever.

We won't be here forever.

We won't be here forever.

The medical community plays a critical role in organ and tissue donation.

With compassion and respect, the dedicated staff at Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network honor every donor hero, support their grieving families with unwavering care, and passionately fulfill the Donate Life mission that turns tragedy into hope and saves countless lives.

For Healthcare Professionals

Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network works closely with healthcare teams to ensure families, or legal next of kin, are fully informed of their options or the organ and tissue donation decisions made by their loved ones.

For Healthcare Professionals

“Waiting for my transplant was like waiting to live again. Your life is suspended in a hospital until you can return to your family. Luckily, I got that change and I’m living it every day!”

– Scott

Our Hospital Development Team

  • Helping to create a positive culture for donation
  • Ensuring all potential donors and their families are provided the opportunity to make an anatomical gift
  • Presenting education on the donation process (see below for more information)
  • Providing data to improve donation outcomes
  • Developing plans to increase the identification, referral, and recovery of medically suitable organ, eye, and tissue donors in assigned hospitals.
