About Us
Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network (FLDRN) is the region’s federally designated not-for-profit organ procurement organization (OPO). We serve as the vital link between individuals or families who choose to Donate Life and those who are in need of life-saving organ transplants, or life-improving tissue and corneal transplants. FLDRN coordinates organ and tissue donations across 20 counties in New York State’s Finger Lakes, Central, and Upstate regions. Our important work is carried out by working closely with the region’s hospitals to ensure the organ and tissue donation decisions of individuals, or their legal next-of-kin, are honored at the time of death.
